Caring For Our WNC Neighbors

MountainCare was created to bring together critical services that fulfill important needs within our Western North Carolina communities. Between them we serve almost every audience in our region, from children to seniors and families to individuals, across all income levels. What unites our varied services is the compassion of every member of our staff and their commitment to providing the best possible care to the people we serve.

  • MountainCare also offers the Mountain Explorers program for adults with mild impairment who are interested in a program of social opportunities, mental stimulation, exercise and enrichment.
  • Overnight Respite is a relatively new program that allows for overnight stays at our facility for up to two weeks when caregivers are going out of town or cannot be with their loved one overnight
